Audiobag is headquartered in Georgetown, Texas. Georgetown, which is just north of Austin, was named (in 2008) the number 2 spot in the country in a list of 100 best places to live and launch a startup business.
Audiobag was founded in 1987 by Jack Josey, a former radio station owner and general manager. Originally called The Commercial Store, the focus was on producing radio commercials. In 2000, the name was changed to Audiobag and new services were added.
