FAQ

CUSTOM AUDIO QUESTIONS:

Q: Do you accept any job?
A: No. We reserve the right to refuse any job. Our policy is simple. If we don't feel comfortable telling our children about your project or if we don't believe we're a good match for your project, we don't accept the job.

Q: How fast will I get my audio?
A: If you ordered production music or ready-to-go phone messages on hold, you'll get the audio instantly. If you order custom audio from us, we'll send it to you via the Internet within 48 hours of placing your order.

Q: Do I get a chance to approve the custom audio you produce for me prior to final delivery?
A: Yes. When we’ve completed the audio, we’ll upload it to a special page where you can listen to it and download it. You’ll have 24 hours to let us know if there’s something you don’t like about the audio production (either voice delivery or music selection). We’ll recut the audio at no extra charge or refund your money. There is, however, an extra charge for a script revision.

Q: Okay, I know that I'll pay an extra charge if I want to revise my script after you've produced it. However, can I change the script right after I've sent it to you?
A: Yes. We will accept a revised script within an hour of placing your order.

Q: How do I get my script to you?
A: Immediately after making your purchase, you will receive an automatic email from us that contains a link to our Script and Instructions form, giving you the opportunity to provide your script, instructions, and choice of music.

Q: Do I get to choose my music?
A: If you'll describe the kind of music you want (you can do that on our Script and Instructions Form), then we'll find something in our library that is suitable. By the way, the production music we have online is a very small sample of the music in our library. So, describing the kind of music you want is the fastest and easiest way to let us know what you want.

Q: Is it secure to order online from you?
A: Yes, and here's what makes it secure: Our checkout process is on a secure server. When you are on the View Cart page or the Checkout page of our website, you'll see a little lock icon in the address line indicating that we are encrypting your information with our Secure Sockets Layer. We are committed to the security of your transaction with us.

Q: I ordered instantly downloadable audio. How to I download my purchase?
A: If you weren't sent directly to the download page after ordering, go to My Account and click on the order you want to download.

Our Guarantee and Refund Policy:

Q: What if I'm unhappy with the audio you produce for me?
A: We offer a full refund on podcast intros, outros, bumpers, full-length podcasts, general voiceovers, and custom phone messages on hold, and audio enhancing.* If you don't like the custom audio we produce for you, contact us within 24 hours of our email notification that your audio is ready for you to review and download. We'll recut your audio or give you a refund.

If we don't understand something in your script, we'll contact you before we produce it. Also, if there's an obvious typo, we'll correct it before producing the audio. If you decide to change the script after we've produced it, we will recut your audio at an additional charge (we'll provide a quote based on the revisions needed).

* We don't offer a refund on audio editing, downloadable production music and ready-to-go phone messages on hold.

MUSIC PRODUCTION QUESTIONS:

Q: What file formats do you offer?
A: We offer WAV for music tracks that are 60 seconds and under; we offer 128 kbps MP3 for full-length music tracks.

Q: Is there anything I need to do before purchasing the music tracks?
A: You must turn cookies on in your browser. This is usually under the Tools menu bar, Security Tab (PC) or within the preferences box, at the 'Advanced' or 'Cookies' selection (Mac).

Q: Can you create a CD for me?
A: All of our music is available for instant downloading; we do not ship on CD.

Q: How do I save my music tracks to my computer?
A: For Windows right click on the download button and 'Save Target As' or 'Download link to Disk'... select a folder and save.
For Mac 'control-click' and hold on the sound link. A menu will pop up, 'Save Target As' or 'Dowload link to Disk' ... select your drive and save.

Q: I did not download the music I purchased and now the link has no page.
A: Links are available for a brief time. Contact us and we will send a new link to you.

Q: Please explain the license.
A: You can use the music tracks within any production for the purposes of synchronization. Examples of usage: podcasts, website presentations, television shows, films, radio, e-cards, commercials, flash animations, theater, CD presentations, etc.

Q: I want to use a music transition as part of an audio interview that I will be making for commercial purposes. My intent is to use this as intro and outro music for the interview that will initially be distributed on CD. Is this considered a proper usage?
A: Yes. As a long you’re not reselling the music as music tracks for sale on a CD, then using it as part of your presentation on a CD is okay.
