FAQ

Thank you for visiting Audiobag.com. If you have a question about our services, we hope we have the answer for you below. If not, call or email us.

NOTE: We're working from home, so we're still here for you during the coronavirus crisis.

Q?
Will you produce any script?
A.
Audiobag will not record the following types of scripts:

1. Scripts that violate, or are likely to violate, laws and regulations.
2. Scripts that are contrary to social norms or public order and morals, that infringe on the rights of others or that cause a nuisance to others.

Q?
How do I get my script and/or instructions to you?
A.
After you've completed your online purchase, your browser will be redirected to our Script and Instructions form. When you've completed the form, click the submit button and we'll take it from there. When we complete your audio, we'll post it on a special download web page for you to hear or see and download, and we'll send you an email informing you it's ready.

Q?
I didn't find my link to the Script and Instructions form. What do I do now?
A.
If you closed your browser after making your purchase and missed the provided link that takes you to our Script and Instructions form, don't panic. Simply please email us at info@audiobag.com or call us at 1-800-397-4887 and we'll send you the link.

Q?
What is the turnaround time on a project?
A.
We produce voiceover projects such as intros, outros, commercials, and messages on hold within 1 to 2 business days of receiving your script, and within 1 to 7 days for audio and video editing/enhancing (depending on our workload and the length and condition of your recording).

Q?
Do you need me to provide a detailed listing of all the issues in each recording or video I want you to edit and enhance?
A.
No, there's no need to provide a detailed listing of all the issues. We'll go through the entire recording or video and find the problems. However, if there are particular sections that you've decided you don't want in the final presentation, let us know where they are in your recording or video.

Q?
Do I get to choose my music?
A.
Yes. Describing the style (for example, soft rock) of music you want is the fastest and easiest way to let us know what you want. If we select music that doesn't appeal to you, let us know and we'll remix the audio with different music at no extra charge. If you'd like to select the music yourself, we provide a link in our Script and Instructions Form to the music library we use. After you've found the music track you like, tell us the name of the track on the Script and Instructions Form.

Q?
If I send you my own music, can I get the voice only price?
A.
We charge more for producing a voice and music presentation because it takes us extra time to mix the audio. So, you'll need to purchase voice and music even if you provide your own music.

Q?
I need my audio improved in a video. Do I order the Audio Editing and Enhancing service or the Video Editing and Enhancing service?
A.
If you don't need anything that involves editing of the video track and you can send us just your audio track (in other words, you'll re-insert the audio track back into your video and render it yourself), then order our Audio Editing and Enhancing service. If you want us to edit out unwanted words, long pauses, or other sections in your video, then that involves editing of the audio and the video tracks. So you'll need to order our Video Editing and Enhancing service.

Guarantee

Q?
What if I'm unhappy with the audio and/or video you produce for me?
A.

Our revision policy on custom audio (includes intros, outros, commercials, promos, public service announcements, full-length presentations, radio sweepers, messages on hold, and phone prompts):

You have 7 days after we've sent you an email letting you know that your audio is ready to let us know if we made a mistake. For example, if we mispronounced a word, you don't like the music or sound effects we chose, or our voice delivery wasn't what you requested (we did conversational instead of upbeat), we'll re-cut the audio. Our guarantee does not cover script or instruction changes. We'll provide you with a quote for any changes you want to make that are not covered by our guarantee. Because of the extensive time and labor we put into creating your audio, we don't offer a refund. However, we strive to make our customers happy with the final presentation.

Our revision policy on audio and/or video editing and enhancing:

You have 7 days after we've sent you our first email letting you know that your audio or video is ready to let us know if we made a mistake. If it's not a mistake on our part, but a noise that concerns you, we'll re-examine it. Keep in mind, though, if there's a loud noise such as a thump that covers up what is being said, removing it may take out the words, too. We may not be able to make it sound any better than the work we've already done on it. However we'll re-examine it to see if we can improve it. Our revision policy does not include instruction changes after we've edited and/or enhanced your recording or video. Instruction changes include any changes from your original instructions. We'll provide you a quote for any instruction changes. Because of the amount of time we put into our editing and enhancing, we do not offer refunds. If we determine we can't improve your recording, we'll refund you all but $30 of the purchase price. The $30 is a one-hour charge for running tests on your audio. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DON'T ACCEPT SECRETLY RECORDED MATERIAL. If you ordered our audio or video editing and enhancing of a private conversation where at least one party in the recording or video is unaware they are being recorded, we'll refuse the work and refund you the purchase price minus the $30 testing fee mentioned above.
